Professor Kithure Kindiki, who holds the position of Interior Cabinet Secretary, has been talking about the current state of the nation's security, a responsibility that he inherited along with a large number of complexities. On the other hand, he has disclosed what he and the first in command may be required to do in the coming days in order to put an end to banditry.
According to a video clip obtained from a reputable source, the Interior Cabinet Secretary has stated that they intend to use all of the reliable and available resources in order to put an end to banditry in the North Eastern part of Kenya, and that if necessary, both he and the first in command, William Ruto, will be forced to invoke the constitution and ask for assistance from other countries in order to put an end to banditry.
In addition to this, he stated that invoking the constitution will result in the participation of outside military personnel in the fight against banditry. Since individuals involved in the banditry are accustomed to acting without fear of repercussions, which won't be accepted, he has stated that they are prepared to relocate those police officers from Nairobi to the places that have been affected by the banditry.
