Drama was today witnessed in Runyenjes Embu after supporters of the Building Bridges Initiative clashed with Opposers of the agenda during a public participation meeting.
Those who support the Agenda claim that the county will benefit from it and so those opposing it were a hindrance to the agenda sailing through.
In a video that is making rounds on social media, the agitated BBI supporters are seen chasing away the Opposers from the meeting.
This comes just hours after two more counties passed the BBI Bill bringing the total number of counties that have passed the Bill to eight.
Counties that have passed the Bill Include Busia, Siaya,Narok, Trans Nzoia, West Pokot, Kisumu, Homa Bay and Kisii which passed it today.
As at now, only Baringo county has shoot down the bill in dramatic scene that saw MCAs exchanging blows and police throwing teargas canisters to contain the situation.
Latest reports have revealed that three representatives from the Baringo county assembly lodged a petition challenging the decision of the county to shoot down the Bill at the Kabarnet High court.
They argue that the manner in which the bill was rejected is not acceptable.
The BBI Amendment Bill requires 24 out of the 47 counties to pass it so as to head for the referendum.
