Aaron Cheruiyot who is the leader of majority in the national assembly and one of Kenya kwanza allies today tweeted on his twitter page that So powerful are the cartels in our media houses, that when I called them out today @ntvkenya dedicated over 10 mins of prime time twisting on it. That's how they buy their freedom & silence critics. Ethical media practice died in Kenya and we must fight to restore it.

The day you will think about killing media or limiting media freedom, that’s the day you will set bad , harmful and dictatorial Leadership! I wish our Constitution can be amended such that, parliamentarians or senatorial are equipped with corporate Governance or Law ”
Where you have CRIPPLED the opposition we need the MEDIA otherwise we are doomed. The MEDIA was against the Uhuru regime too you simply want to control everything ? A populist govt. So you are mad because the media and banks are not buyable like you have bought everyone else including the clergy judiciary civil society n politicians?
