Raila Reacts To Ruto's Manifesto Launch, Speaks On Key Issue Ruto Didn't Touch On Last Night

One day after deputy President William Ruto launched his manifesto in Kasarani Stadium, there has been a lot of reactions from his opponents. Statements has been made by Raila through his presidential secretariat led by Professor Makau Mutua. The secretariat has issued a statement on behalf of Raila to react to the statement and the proposals made by deputy President William Ruto on his manifesto.

Making a statement from the presidential secretariat, the professor has lamented on William Ruto's failure to mention corruption in his manifesto. He made an official statement revealing that everything that was said in the Kenya Kwanza manifesto was underwhelming since he didn't mention corruption which is the major hurdle of development in Kenya.

"UDA presidential candidate William Ruto launched his manifesto last night. They only word to describe what the whole nation saw and heard is underwhelming. The evening was punctuated by empty promises, slogans and headshakes. The most important issue facing this nation was conspicuously missing from the UDA manifesto. The word corruption was not mentioned and did not cross Mr Ruto's lips even once. Like the plague, Mr ruto completely avoided any mention of the word, we know why." Odinga's secretariat wrote in their Twitter account evidenced in the following post.
