Today,Dp Ruto took to his Twitter account and posted the resolutions they have made during the meeting.
Among them was that he will look into the plight of poor Kenyans, including bodaboda riders, mama mboga, pastoralists and others.
He also added that the politics will now shift to the common mwananchi, where the discussion will be centered on how to help them improve their standards of life.
However, some of Kenyans were irked by the second in command's remarks. Here are some of the top comments.
Stephen: Kenyans have had enough of promises. This is a time to look into your scorecard for the 9 years you have been in government as a co-president and mostly in the first term when you controlled 50% of it. Promises can only be accepted from newcomers!
Chris:8 years down the line,it is now that you are realising common mwananchi matters?Where did tyranny of Numbers, Uhuru 10 Ruto 10 go?
Kibunga: They used the old Jubilee umbrella to shield them as they steal everything meant to help the farmers, mama mboga, the youth and professionals thus enriching themselves. And so now they want to continue stealing under a new umbrella branded in different colours. Satan is a lier.
Hesbon:Based on your statement am waiting to see if those Mt Kenya leaders are not going to ask for positions in order to support you given you have said it will never be about position, will they support you without DP position? Waiting!
