The August election is considered to be a two horse race between Kenya Kwanza team flag bearer DP William Ruto and ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
Kenya Kwanza team today held their rallies in Nakuru led by Ruto, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula and running mate Rigathi Gachagua.
Narc party leader Martha Karua on the other side was accompanied by Raila in Loita, Narok county. They were received a warm reception by senior Azimio leaders including Senator Ledama Olekina.
Karua nomination as Raila's running mate have brought momentum in Azimio state house bid. Mt Kenya huge votes will now split between Raila and Ruto.
Speaking to Loita people, Karua claims that it was Raila's time to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta after August 9 poll.
" Niko Azimio kwa sababu historia yangu na ya Baba zinalingana. Raila Odinga amenyimwa uongozi mara mingi lakini hachoki. Alikubali kusema Kibaki tosha ndiposa tukabadilisha Kenya." Karua has said.
