Meru County governor Kiraitu Murungi and CS For agriculture Peter Munya has been showing their differences in public. The two have attacked one another due to ideological differences. Governor Kiraitu accused CS Munya for not supporting the Miraa farmers in the County. On the other hand Munya has been accusing the governor for poor leadership and misuse of resources.
The two have been united today by Raila Odinga who visited the County to look for support ahead of 2022. The ODM leader has challenged these leaders to work together and avoid in house fights.
"I have told them that there should not be any misunderstandings between them as my government will be large enough to accommodate all. One could be the governor while the other will be in the national government"- Raila stated.
The former Prime Minister went ahead and stated he is will be the visitor of Munya and Kiraitu in Meru. He insisted that he only want friendship.
"I am their visitor during my period here in Meru, and the only thing I want is friendship. I do not want in-house fights as we have a challenging task ahead of us as we face our opponents in the upcoming elections"- Raila added.
