Speaking on KTN News brief with Linda Ogutu, the fierce politician today said he understands Vice President Samia Suluhu better and that her style of leadership will be quiet different from Magufuli's.
He therefore expressed hope that the new administration will assure every life of their safety as well as free speech for better governance.
“This is the time to open a new chapter for our country. This is an opportunity for national reconciliation which had been made impossible…I’ll go back to Tanzania, but my going is part of what I’m calling for….my return, and the return of many others who are in exile even in Kenya…it is time for Tanzanians to sit together to account for all the evils of these past 5 years, because you cannot have reconciliation without truth,” he told KTN News.
In the Thursday morning Tv interview, Lissu stated that he will be leading other opposition leaders in Tanzania to write an official letter to the incoming President Suluhu making their demands clear.
