Deputy president William Ruto has today held a meeting with western Kenya grassroot leaders at is Sugoi home in which he continued to spread his bottom up economic model. Present were western Kenya legislators including Mumias East MP Ben Washiali, former Kakamega senator Dr khalwale and Didimus Barasa of Kimilili.
In the meeting, DP Ruto has said Parliament has a duty of working with relevant government bodies and take calculated interventions to get the country back on track through the fast tracking of people centered legislations like the NHIF Act and the Housing Act. In the long run, the DP has said this will go a long way in to guarantee millions of Kenyans employment opportunities and access to affordable health care.
However, Kenyans who have reacted on DP Ruto's urge to the government have reminded him that he is part of the government and must take the initiative to himself.
