DP Ruto and his allies.

A show down was looming today at the burial service of the late Juja member of Parliament Francis Munyai Waititu all I was Wakapee, who succumbed after long illness.

This could be a perfect ground for the president and his deputy to meet, as the previous meeting was short lived, after another burial has to happen later in the day.

Among the vocal legislators, many were missing in action, with only president Uhuru Kenyatta being the household name present.

The absence of this leaders saw the service end by noon, and the late member of parliament was taken to his home for burial.

One of the leaders whose absence was felt is the second in command, the deputy president William Ruto.

Wakapee was a Jubilee member of parliament, and it was a surprise, not seeing the deputy president join the president in the last send off, of one of their party member.

Deputy president was not the only Jubilee politician missing, but a large number of Jubilee party members were not in attendance.

There were no communications as to why the members of the ruling party chose to skip such an event, but might be due to President Uhuru attending the burial and they never knew what to expect.
