Just In: Remains of Robert Mugabe to be Exhumed From His Rural Home

Zimbabwe is one of the African states that is currently under the leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa who took over powers from Robert Mugabe through a millitary coup In November 2017. Mnangagwa who was Mugabe's vice president used millitary to overthrow his boss.

A chief in Zimbabwe has ordered that the remains of the late former President Robert Mugabe be exhumed from his rural home in Kutama village. Mugabe was burried on 28th November 2019.

Chief Zvimba made the ruling on Monday 24th May this year and found the late's wife Grace Mugabe guilty of breaking the traditional norms of burying her husband in his courtyard.

The ruling came after one member from Robert Mugabe's clan in Kutama village filed a case in Zvimba district over the manner of his burial.

In conclusion, Chief Zvimba has ordered that the remains of Mugabe be exhumed and burried at the National Heroes Shrine in Harare.
