Wiper , ANC and FORD Kenya have firmly denounced any plans to reunite with ODM. The latest reports will deliver a crashing blow to ODM leader Raila Odinga's ambitions of succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
The 3 parties indicated they are committed with their new partnership involving KANU, as they seek to form the next government after President Kenyatta exits power.
“On matters NASA, we, in Ford Kenya, Amani National Congress (ANC) and Wiper, wish to reaffirm our irreversible commitment to the One Kenya Alliance, in partnership with KANU and any other like-minded Kenyans,” the four OKA principals said in a statement dated Tuesday, July 20.
The 3 parties had in the past accused ODM leader Raila Odinga of "political mischief", after talks surfaced the former premier will be at the ballot in 2022.
Mudavadi, Kalonzo and Wetangula claimed Mr Odinga had promised to back one of them in 2022 after they shelved their ambitions for him in 2017.
