Raila Odinga has branded Deputy President William Ruto a new name just a day after the second in command promised to solve coastal region land issues.
Speaking in Busia county, Raila Odinga branded Dp Ruto as "Arap Mashamba" as he claimed that Ruto came with the idea of solving coastal land issues after he learned that Raila had already promised to appoint Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho as CS for Land.
According to Raila, Dp Ruto is planning a new strategy to grab several lands in coastal region in the name of solving land issues, he has therefore urged the coastal voters not to heed to his call as he claimed that Governor John will solve their problems after the Azimio government ascends to power.
Ruto yesterday promised to end land issues in the coastal region by providing a permanent solution through a fair means something that has been termed by Azimio Coalition as a plan to grab coastal land.
