Barasa Comes Clean On Supporting UDA Candidate In Bungoma as He Instructs Police To Make Arrest

Kimilili Member of Parliament Honourable Didmus Barasa has now revealed what will happen to a young man who spread rumours about his stand on the ongoing Bungoma campaigns.

Taking to his Twitter account on Saturday evening, the firebrand politician has now distanced himself from supporting United Democratic Alliance party candidate in the upcoming by-elections.

According to Didmus Barasa who was elected on a UDA ticket, he is still rallying behind FORD Kenya candidate and not ready to support his own party while saying that police are now hunting the man who spread the fake news.

"I have asked the police to arrest the young man spreading this fake information. Senator is Wafula Wakoli,"said Didmus Barasa.

The sentiments by the lawmaker comes after the man named Gavana Mulongo on social media claimed that Didmus Barasa was now backing a UDA candidate.

Kenya Kwanza Alliance candidates fronted two candidates in the expected hot contest that has drawn seasoned politician Wafula Wamunyinyi.

Whilst Kakamega county senator Dr Boni Khalwale is leading UDA campaigns, Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi is leading FORD Kenya campaigns.
