The Jubilee Coalition Joint Parliamentary Group (PG) Secretary Adan Keynan, and MPs Jeremiah Kioni (Ndaragwa) and Mark Nyamita (Uriri) have come up with plans to lock the United Democratic Alliance Party including Deputy President William Ruto out of the 2022 government.
According to the three leaders, weighing into the ongoing talks on the Jubilee-ODM.merger, they have backed the proposal to have both parties field joint candidates in metropolitan areas.
Eldas MP Adan Keynan has said that their first move is to be guaranteed of rach party's stronghold by crisscrossing across the country to gauge the support of both parties.
In the plan, Ndaragwa Member of Parliament Hon Jeremiah Kioni has said that each party will have the authority to field the candidate of their choice in the areas where they have a great influence with the full backing of the partner party to ensure that they clock the UDA party and others from monopolizing.
"It is a welcome gesture to field joint candidates. Where Jubilee is strong it should field a candidate and be supported by ODM. Even in Nairobi, there are areas that ODM is stronger and other areas where Jubilee is stronger," Ndaragwa Member of Parliament Hon Jeremiah Kioni has said.
