On the 15th of August Chairman of the (IEBC) declared William Ruto as the president elect of Kenya. He received congratulatory messages from different leaders in Africa and beyond. However the President of the republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta has kept his silence over the big win for the following reason.
It would be bring different reactor if the head of stead who is is also the chairman of the Azimio coalition congratulates William Ruto because it would show that he was content with the elections outcome
As reported by a Livestream media station this would embarrass Raila Odinga who was the flag barerer of the coalition which he leads as the chairman. This would be mockery to Raila Odinga whom he endorsed as president. This comes after the flag barerer of Aziomio Coalition Raila Odinga prepares to file a petition in the supreme court to contest the concluded general elections in August 9th.
