DP Ruto now says he will not retreat nor surrender on his 2022 mission

Just a day after president Uhuru Kenyatta asked his Deputy Dr. William Samoei Ruto to resign if he doesn't support his agendas, DP Ruto today vowed that he will not retreat nor surrender. He said that he will keep on pushing for his agendas of bottom-up economy model and make sure that there's a creation of employment and distribution of wealth among Kenyans.

He was speaking this while condoling with the family of the deceased MCA of Mahoo WARD, Taita Taveta County, the Late Hon Ronald Sagurani. Though the burial had been earlier interrupted by the police under instructions from 'above', Deputy President William Ruto attended. They had brought down tents just because the DP William Ruto was to attend.

While speaking at the burial service, he termed the police act as shameful and apologized to the family and the people of Mahoo Ward and Taita Taveta county at large. He said that MCA Ronald Sagurani had voted for him thrice; one in 2013 and twice in 2017. He said that it wouldn't have been good for him to miss his burial yet the MCA had supported him.

Deputy President William Ruto had also said while speaking in Karen this morning, that BBI had the potential of creating an imperial president who could have controlled all arms of government. He said that it would have ruined the democracy which have been built over the years.
