Reactions As Raila Meets Strong Opposition Leader After Revealing Detail of His Saturday Meeting in DRC

ODM leader Raila Odinga has been out of the country for official duties. He has been in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), since Friday 20th when he jetted out of the country.

On Saturday, the ODM leader held another meeting in DRC. However an online uproar has been witnessed after ODM leader revealed details of his Saturday meeting after meeting strong opposition online.

Raila on Saturday 21st September met with Governor of Lualaba, Richard Muyej in Kolwezi to discuss the impacts of the Inga Hydropower project.

"The African Union is jointly undertaking the Inga Hydropower project with President Felix Tshisekedi’s government. It will significantly boost the availability of power on the continent. I discussed its impact thus far and more with the Governor of Lualaba, Richard Muyej in Kolwezi, DRC," Raila said.
