National Assembly Approves Nomination Of Justice Martha Koome As Chief Justice

The national assembly has today approved the nomination of the Justice Martha Koome to start working as the Kenya's Chief Justice, this has happened a few months after the retirement of Justice David Maraga.

This approval now sends to President Kenyatta for formal appointment as per the Kenyan constitution, this has happened amidst war between the president and the judiciary especially after a team of five Judges nulified the BBI report.

Justice Martha Koome has become the Chief Justice after undergoing through all the required process, her nomination has caused reaction amongst Kenyans who made jokes about her academics as it is known she obtained a pass in her university studies.

"Employers especially the public service should with immediate effect start employing degree holders with a pass,"Jakatwenga twitted.

Despite all objections let's pray for the new Chief Justice as she takes over her new message, may God bless justice Koome Martha.

We expect that Justice Martha Koome will do her best despite the first that she is the first female kenya's Chief Justice, all the best in her duties.
