“They Will Be Sacked For Supporting Azimio Leader Raila Odinga“ Analyst Alleges Gachagua’s Plan.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has notified several Chiefs from Mathira, Nyeri that they will be fired for backing Azimio leader Raila Odinga, according to a tweet from Abuga Makori. The chiefs claim that DP Gachagua requested that they begin looking for new employment and noted that it was time for "payback."

"When I answered the phone, I recognized H.E. Gachagua's voice. He began by telling me that, according to his information, I was one of those who had backed Azimio during the elections. He asked me how many years I have left before I retire at the end of the brief call, Makori reported the chief's statements.

“He informed me that in the meantime, I should be looking for something else to do because I will be going home. I could not start arguing with such a senior person. However, I tried to explain myself, but he could hear none of it” he said.

In the run up to last year’s General Election, Mr Gachagua was constantly engaged in public spats with the then CS for interior Dr. Matiang’i and his PS Karanja Kibicho, accusing them of attempting to lure the chiefs and their administrators to rally behind Azimio la Umoja.
