Aisha Jumwa Meets Governor Waiguru and Kenya Kwanza Women MPs after Her Vetting

Former immediate Malindi member of parliament Aisha Jumwa today appeared before house appointment committee for her cabinet vetting before approval by the house plenary.

The outspoken former legislator disclosed her net worth and answer other queries raised by national assembly speaker Moses Wetangula's led vetting panel.

After the vetting, Aisha Jumwa met Kirinyanga governor Anne Waiguru and other Kenya Kwanza Alliance women legislators for a consultative meeting.

Women leaders in the meeting with the cabinet Nominee includes; Taita Taveta women representative Lydia Haika, Garissa women representative Dullo, former nominated senator Milicent Omanga among other women leaders.

Tourism cabinet secretary Nominee Penninah Malonza was also in attendance.

Aisha Jumwa was nominated to gender and public service cabinet docket by president William Ruto. If approved, she will take over from outgoing cabinet secretary Prof. Marget Kobia.
