Reactions Of Kenyans After IEBC Suspends The Gubernatorial Elections In Kakamega And Mombasa

The political temperatures in the country are still warmer after the 9th August elections. The independence electoral and boundaries commission IEBC, chairperson Wafula Chebukati on Monday announced the presidential elect president Dr William Ruto.

The gubernatorial elections in kakamega county and Mombasa counties were not done due to mismatch on the ballot papers. The independence electoral and boundaries commission IEBC announced that the gubernatorial elections will be done after 14days which is next week on tuesday.

This evening, according to the NTV, the iebc chairperson Wafula Chebukati has postponed the exercise until further notice due to threats, harassment and profiling of the commission officials. Wafula Chebukati has asked Kenyans to remain patient and in peace as they await the inauguration of the fifth president of the republic of kenya, Dr William samoei Ruto.

The Kenyans on the other side have given their views following the postponement of the governor elections in the two counties.
