Controversial Jubilee and Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru set the record straight as she admitted in a virtual interview conducted by one of the Media houses that she is ready to be the Deputy president of the Republic of Kenya or even be president if given the opportunity.
Waiguru statement seems to have shut down some of her critics who have always associated her with graft charges especially during the National Youth Service scandal that saw billions of money go missing without a trace.
"I am ready to be the Deputy President and even being the Boss as I have the education and experience required," Waiguru affirmed.
When asked on the state of her relationship with the boss and party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Governor did not hesitate to praise him for his help in making her who she is adding her relationship is good just like the one of the boss and his colleagues.
As the 2022 General Elections approach, its expected many politicians will change alliances with some already having done it and Waiguru's revelation sets a new path for both ODM party leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto as they are the most likely to be in the ballot box.
Do you think Waiguru stands a chance to be nominated by either of the two leaders as Deputy President or she setting her bar way too high for her standards. Leave your views in the comments.
