Mombasa Governor HE Abdulswamad Shariff has mourned Catherine Kasavuli, a veteran news anchor at KBC.
According to him Catherine Kasavuli, graced our screens with news in the early years of broadcasting in Kenya and came back with the legends edition in the same station.
"It is with great sorrow that I receive the news about the death of Catherine Kasavuli, a veteran news anchor at KBC that graced our screens with news in the early years of broadcasting in Kenya and came back with the legends edition in the same station. She also inspired many youths into journalism.
On my behalf, my family and the people of Mombasa, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the late legend Ms. Catherine Kasavuli.May her soul Rest in eternal Peace". Said Hon. Abdulswamad Shariff Mombasa Governor.
