Lang'ata Public Land Grabbing Case Takes Sudden Twist After Pres Ruto's Name is Allegedly Mentioned

A Lang'ata public land grabbing Case took a sudden twist on Thursday after it emerged that a man by the Name of Muraya (City Politician) has been using President William Ruto's name into making the dwellers who are Internally Displaced People of 2007 and 2008 Post Election violence believe, it is President William Ruto who is ordering them to Quit while in a real sense, the head of state hasn't okayed such a move.

According to an exclusive report by the Nation Media on Thursday, it is reported that Muraya together with another Man who goes by the name of Bolu has gone to the extent of making the National Environmental and Management Authority believe that William Ruto is the legitimate owner of the 100-hectare land that host over 1200 families who have comped there for more than 15 years no.

A few days ago, it is reported that Muraya amplified a phone call from one Bolu who claimed to have been sent by the head of state to order the over 1200 families to vacate the land to create room for developments.

He seems to be operating above the law, selling public land, blocking public roads, and charging citizens to access the same. He even states that he is selling the public land on behalf of His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto and that the 6th respondent (Bolu) has authorised, endorsed, and approved the same.

"He even places his phone on the loudspeaker where an individual claiming to be Mr. Bolu says that we should leave the land as the same has been sold and that it is the President himself, William Ruto, who has directed the sale," Reads Court papers as reported by the Nation.
