This is the campaign season where several vocal leaders are working hard on ensuring their political ambitions are met by putting up posters announcing what they are vying for.
Kirinyaga County governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru is set to defend her seat against Purity Wangui Ngirici and other leaders, with several posters and banners erected each and every part of Kirinyaga County.

However, some of her posters and campaign posts were destroyed this evening that made her state: "I will today be lodging an official complaint to the IEBC through my lawyers seeking to bar my opponent from running for electoral office for defacing & destroying my campaign and promotional material."
In solidarity, Kenyans joined Hon Anne Mumbi Waiguru in rebuking and criticising those behind the destruction of her campaign posts terming this as a very primitive thing. Take a look at some of the reactions:
