Deputy President William Ruto is a troubled man after it emerged that former Machakos senator Johnson Muthama allegedly wants to take his party back,according to Wahome Thuku a close ally to President Kenyatta and a political commentator disclosed that cracks within UDA has forced owners of the party to reposes it,earlier last week Johnston Muthama was accused of leaving party delegates in Mombasa county after they were confronted by law enforcer's,Muthama who is UDA executive member disappeared after losing terribly to his wife in Machakos by elections,since then Johnstone Muthama has never appeared in media briefings.
Deputy President William has been using UDA in fighting his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta in a number of by elections that just concluded,and repossessing UDA will mean that he has to start from scratch once more after being kicked out of Jubilee,as new political alignments are being built it will be a major blow to the second in command and his Mount Kenya allies.
Johnstone Muthama before joining deputy President William Ruto was a key figure in NASA coalition that was led by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga,but after the 2017 general elections he shifted his allegiance to UDA.
