(Opinion) This Is Why it is Difficult to Completely Wipe Out Israel: Moses's Blessing of Security and Safety

Israel is a historical nation that over time has received the attention of the entire globe. Several unique inventions have been launched courtesy of Israel. In essence, she has excelled in nearly all aspects hence attracting the attention of both allies and enemies.

There have been several violent attacks that have been reported between Israel and her immediate neighbours, the Palestinians among other sorounding nations like Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia. Nevertheless, peace accords have been established to some extent and this has helped stabilize things.

Even so, it is important to consider the fact that Israel is a nation loved and chosen by God. It is protected by an everlasting covenant that God can never break. This includes the safety and security of Israel. No wonder Israel is never shaken by her enemies. In fact, they are always ready to face anybody that tries to cross their borders with evil intentions.

Apart from the huge investment in security and arms, Israel is protected by God. Even if some nations threaten to wipe Israel out of the face of the earth, they are only causing trouble for themselves. I would like to draw your attention to an important blessing that Moses proclaimed over Israel before his death.

The blessing/ prayer of Moses Over Israel

Deuteronomy 33 records of the incidence when Moses proclaimed blessings over the 12 tribes of Israel before his departure. Thereafter, he went ahead to declare a very powerful blessing upon Israel as regards it's safety and security. This is it:

Deuteronomy 33:26-29

[26]There is none like God, O Jeshurun [Israel], Who rides through the heavens to your help and in His majestic glory through the skies.

[27]The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He drove the enemy before you and thrust them out, saying, Destroy!

[28]And Israel dwells in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone in a land of grain and new wine; yes, His heavens drop dew.

[29]Happy are you, O Israel, and blessing is yours! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the Shield of your help, the Sword that exalts you! Your enemies shall come fawning and cringing, and submit feigned obedience to you, and you shall march on their high places.

Therefore, if there is any person or nation declaring themselves as enemies of Israel, they are simply declaring themselves as enemies of God's own people hence enemies of God.

You wouldn't want to pick a fight with God. Would you?
