The Azimio One Kenya Alliance is contesting the presidential results that saw independent electoral and bondaries chairman Wafula Chebukati declared deputy president William Samoei Ruto as the president elect, the coalition is assembling a battery of legal minds with enough evidence before formally filing a petition at the Supreme court.
According to Ahmednassir Abdullahi who is aligned to the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, he says that president Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga do not want a repeat election or anything else at the Supreme court but only an overturn of the IEBC results to declare Raila Odinga the president-elect, for Ahmednassir, he concludes that the plot is impossible.
Donald Kipkorir who is alligned to the Azimio camp, has on his part argued that the Supreme court can overturn Chebukati's decision and declared Raila the president after rectifying the errors that may ne found in computation of the total votes.
