
Makueni county governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana has Withdrawn his presidential candidature.
This comes as boost to former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga since Kivutha Kibwana has noted that he will be supporting the former Prime Minister.
He made the remarks after having held a high profile meeting with Raila Odinga and other 26 Governors in Naivasha on Monday morning where Raila Odinga was also declared the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate.

The meeting is taking place at the Enashipai Resort and Spa Hotel in Naivasha and was attended by the supporters of Raila Odinga's Azimio la Umoja drive and they have noted that it was consultative forum.
Raila, who arrived at the hotel on Monday at 10:00 am, was accompanied by governors Lee Kinyanjui (Nakuru), Charity Ngilu (Kitui), Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega), and Martin Wambora (Embu) among others.
