Today being the election day, Kenyans woke up very early at the polling stations to vote for their leaders of choice. With the leaders, the Kenya Kwanza Alliance Party Leader Dr. William Samoei Ruto was the first among the four presidential candidates to cast his vote as early as 6:00 am when the polling stations were Openned. He was in the company of his wife mama Rachael Ruto when they arrived at Kosachei's primary polling station.

From the report, the Azimio la Umoja party presidential running mate honorable Martha Karua arrived at Mugumo Primary school polling station in the constituency where she went ahead and voted.

She arrived at the polling station at exactly 5:45 am in the company of her family members. Moments later, after the two Politicians from competing parties voted, a popular journalist Ali Manzu through his social media platforms reported that both Kenya Kwanza's DP Ruto and Azimio's honorable Karua voted at 6 am.

This statement by the KTN news anchor did not sit well with the Azimio running mate: Martha Karua who immediately told him off through the same online platform stating she arrived at 5:45 and not at 6 am. On seeing her respond, the news anchor apologized immediately
