Mohammed Ali was a close friend of Raila Odinga before ning Deputy President William Ruto. Before losing the party nominations before the 2017 general election and being forced to run as an independent candidate, he used to support the ODM party.
Hon Mohammed Ali won the Nyali parliamentary race and thereafter sided with Deputy President William Ruto. Since then, the well-liked lawmaker has been hammering Raila Odinga and his friends.
And today, Mohammed Ali stated via his official Twitter account that people should support the UDA party in the upcoming election because the party's leader and members want to safeguard the Mombasa port while Raila Odinga's supporters want to move the port to Naivasha.
Recently Kenya Kwanza issued a press about the port of Mombasa, Lamu, and Kisumu that was alleged sold out by the government.
