Raila's trip to Laikipia over the weekend gave the residents a chance to meet their aspiring President come 2022. Raila had been in Nanyuki on Saturday before meeting people of Laikipia on Sunday. During his speech, Raila intervened into the recently calmed down Laikipia skirmishes that left some families in serious mourning after loosing loved ones and property.
Raila condemned what had prevailed in Laikipia for the past 2 months with the dust beginning to settle almost 2 weeks ago. He urged the residents to embrace the words of the national anthem and practice peace. It's after saying this words that the clergy also intervened into his political situation.
"You are here today and you have tried to win some political seat many times before but the votes have never been enough; pour it all to God"' Laikipia moderator, John Muhinyia dedicated powerful prayers. Raila was accampanied by his allied Governors to Laikipia.
