Sources Reveal President Uhuru Kenyatta's Plans After Mashujaa Day Celebrations

It has emerged that after the much anticipated Mashujaa Day Celebrations, the Kenyan Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta will put h camp in his Mt Kenya region backyard.

His aim is to try and bring order at a time when he has been losing politicians allied to him from the region to his own deputy William Ruto in the recent past and ahead of the much awaited presidential elections.

The Wednesday Standard has learnt that president Uhuru Kenyatta will be at the Sagana State Lodge where he will hold several high profile meetings.

“The President is committed to sorting out issues in his backyard. His people have raised a number of issues and he wants to separate facts from untruths by having a candid conversation with his people before giving them the signal on whom to support to succeed him,” said a source.

Among those people that president Uhuru Kenyatta will meet are top political leaders among them the politicians who have formed political parties ahead of the much awaited presidential elections.

The meetings will come just days after he hosts both Orange Democratic Movement ODM party leader Raila Amollo Odinga and his deputy William Ruto at the Wang'uru Stadium in Mwea within Kirinyaga county.
