Junet Mohammed introducing a die-hard Raila support at Murang'a, Sunday 29th August 2021.
Senators allied to the DP had a lengthy standoff with the government side insisting on the allocation of revenue along with the one man, one vote, one shilling principle. Finally, President Uhuru and his Handshake partner gave in and for good measure incorporated the proposition in the Constitution of Kenya Amendment Bill (2020) document.
Junet challenged Ruto to let Kenyans know his position on the allocation of 7 more Constituencies to the Mount Kenya region. "He should stop quoting scriptures and confusing Kenyans with the bottom-up thing when he's openly opposed to anything that benefits Wanjiku."

Junet was speaking at Murang'a Bible Fellowship Church where he attended a Sunday service in the company of ODM Party leader Raila Odinga. The presiding bishop revealed that he's a life member of the Orange Democratic Movement Party and his support for a Raila candidacy was unquestionable.
Junet could possibly be reacting to an event in Nakuru where the DP quoted several Bible scriptures concerning the blessedness of giving as opposed to receiving.
Meanwhile, Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa was on a charm offensive in Western Kenya where urged Musalia Mudavadi and Wetangula to shelve their presidential ambitions and support Raila.
"I'm foreseeing a situation where we [Luhya Community] risk being left out of the next government if we do not support Raila", Eugene told the gathering.
