UDA ally Caleb Kositany who recently lost in the concluded elections has set the record straight on the mass defections that are being witnessed from the Azimio camp to join Kenya Kwanza team. Following the declaration made by Chebukati that William Ruto is the President-elect a number of elected leaders have decamped to UDA. However, Kositany alleged that there is no any law that states the number of legislators that the opposition party should have for them to take part in the businesses of the National Assembly. He said that elected leaders are not barred from joining the party of their interests after the elections.
Kositany also said that they are ready for the Supreme Court verdict and incase they nullify the results then Kenya Kwanza will just again beat the Azimio flagbear Raila Odinga. He said that they are ready and nothing can stop them from winning again. Professor Ben Sihanya spoke on Uhuru's stand or silence following the disputed presidential election results. He said that the outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta must first wait for the Azimio's petition before he makes any move on power transition.
