Remember Daniel Owira alias Otongolo who was adopted by President Uhuru 7 years ago? Well, Daniel Owira came into the limelight during the 2013 drama festivals held in Mombasa.
Otonglo's life made a u-turn after he recited a hilarious poem entitled 'Otongolo' which left President Uhuru in stiches. His life changed for the best while he was in form two after the Celebrated President of the Republic of Kenya,His Excellency Uhuru was highly impressed with Owira's performance.
It was from this that President Uhuru vowed to take over Owira's responsibilities from his parents by taking him as one of his own sons. President Uhuru vowed to support this talented Kenyan in his education.
Owira later completed his KCSE education back in the year 2015, managed to score a C+ and had a chance to join Multi Media University. He undertook Journalism and Media Studies which were fully sponsored by the Kenyatta Foundation.
Owira's fame grew and even appeared in our local Television's where he was doing advertisements and even as an actor at the famous 'Inspekta Mwala' programme.
