As the election beacons ,new things are evolving in the country. New parties and alliances are being formed by politicians to safe their political ambitions. Besides this, commissions and committee are being composed to foresee the preparation of the elections.
The commissions are involving different sectors in the country ,for example the cabinet secretaries for Interior and ICT, and the judiciary. The inclusion of these people raised worries in UDA associated with the DP william Ruto. The party went ahead and wrote letters to the IEBC demanding the exclusion of Dr Fred Matiang'i ,Joe Mucheru and CJ Martha Koome in the preparation of the elections.
This move evokes what happened in 2017 when Raila Odinga complained the same issue to the IEBC, it was not solved but downplayed by jubilee led by president Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto.
The move by UDA is now seen as anger and fear of conceding defeat come august next year.
