Did Bonny Khalwale Absence In Matungu By Election Costs UDA A Seat?

Bonny Khalwale while in campaigns.

The absence of the former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale was loud enough to be ignored, during the Thursday polls that were going on in Matungu, Kakamega County his home turf.

The charming Bonny was nowhere to be seen, as other leaders affiliated to the deputy president, traversed the constituency, luring voters to cast for their preferred candidate.

Bonny Khalwale's presence could play a critical role, that could be hard to be ignored, considering his charm, with the area residents that he had enjoyed during the campaign period.

But what could have gone wrong the last minute that saw Bonny miss the eventful day that was, where politicians from parties that took part in the by election tried to outdo each other.

It is not clear whether the former Kakamega senator was sick, or he has fallen out with his master, as his whereabouts were not availed, rather those available took the responsibility of sourcing for votes.

If Khalwale would have been present, we may be talking another language as per now, as far as Matungu by elections are concerned.
