Renowned Kikuyu singer Muigai Wa Njoroge has been one of the most ardent supporters of Deputy President William Ruto. He tirelessly campaigned for Ruto and UDA in the Mt Kenya region during the busy campaign season and even released songs drumming up support for the Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate.
His second wife Queen Staecy has taken to social media to congratulate him following UDA's exemplary performance in Mt Kenya. Already, quite a good number of leaders have captured elective seats from Governor to MCA on the UDA ticket.
Ruto also performed well in most polling stations in Central Kenya, even beating Martha Karua at the polling station where she cast her vote. Ruto also got more votes than Raila in Uhuru's polling station.
Wa Njoroge's wife congratulated him for using his influence to popularize the UDA party and Ruto in Mt Kenya religion.
She hilarious said that she battled cold nights and at times felt lonely when her husband was busy campaigning but he managed to deliver. Stacey said the lonely nites were worth it since her husband was equal to the task.
