“Raila Blames Everybody Except Himself” Raila Told to Go Slow on Electoral Loss Utterances

ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga has been told to stop the rants on those who bungled his election in August. He has been told that he needs to see where he made mistakes before making careless utterances. Political analyst Dismas Mokua says that what Raila is doing now is not healthy for the progress of his Azimio la Umoja team. Mokua wants Raila to do a post mortem with his team to see where the rain started beating him instead of blaming everybody.

In the last few days, Raila and his team have been accusing a number of individuals and organisations and calling them out for not helping achieve transparent elections. Raila has blamed Supreme Court and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for failing to uphold free and fair elections. Leaders in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance have however been telling Raila to blame his team for letting him down.

“Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition needs to conduct a thorough post mortem of why Raila was beaten by Ruto. What is going on in the camp is not healthy for the team. Mr Odinga is blaming everybody except himself,” Mokua has said.
