Just a few hours after attending Kenya's national holiday at Uhuru Gardens, deputy president Gachaguq is currently in Machakos County for official duty. Several opposition and current government politicians will be present at the event, which is being hosted by Kenya Kwanza.
Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti, who said that he is prepared to cooperate with the government to ensure that her County receives the necessary services from the government, led the procession that greeted the deputy president to the area.
Following an order from President William Ruto a few days ago, the deputy president is in charge of the takeoff and flag off of subsidized fertilizer, which is anticipated to land in two different counties around the nation starting today.
Anne Waiguru, the leader of the council of governors and governor of Kirinyaga, is also present. Governors Kimani Wamatangi and Johnstone Sakaja are also with her.
