President Uhuru Kenyatta has already landed in makueni and specifically Wote where he is in the company of Monicah Juma the energy cabinet Secretaries. The meeting coming a few minutes after Ruto also landed in the area for a series of rallies in the area.
In a post on Facebook, statehouse Kenya said, "His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta arrives in Wote, Makueni County for an inspection visit of Kenya's first Agri Hub, a Eni Kenya vegetable oil and related bio-products factory. In July 2021, Eni Kenya, a local offshoot of the Italian oil and gas giant Eni S.p.A, signed an agreement with the Govt to promote the circular economy by setting up 20 agri hubs for production of bio-fuels and related bio-products."
