A governor has been criticized by the resident's, this is after he is accused of allegedly appointing his friend's and relatives to the devolved government. The residents, especially those who were opposed to the governor's bid and supported his opponent have accused the county chief of practising nepotism and also tribalism.
The county chief allegedly nominated his tribesmen and women as County Executive Chief minister's. It is a matter that a section of the constituents are now said to be contemplating challenging in court. The governor is also accused of going ahead to appoint a non-Kenyan citizen among his chief officer's.
The Members of the county assembly are reported to have accepted and approved the foreigner after their palms were properly "greased." We will be waiting to see what happens in the coming days.
