Murkomen Breaks Silence After UDA Received Massive Defeat In Machakos, Posts This Message

Elgeiyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen has broken his silence after UDA party candidate was defeated by Wiper party candidate in the just concluded by election. The party which closely associated with deputy president William Ruto's hustler nation suffered a massive blow by getting close to twenty thousand votes against wiper which got over a hundred thousand votes.

This contest was seen as a determinant of who will be the Kingpin of Eastern region between Kalonzo Musyoka and former Machakos senator Johnston Muthama. The duo previously worked together under NASA coalition, but split and now Muthama is supporting. William Ruto whereas Kalonzo Musyoka is supporting the government of the day being led by president Kenyatta.

Murkomen has congratulated the winner and welcomed her to the senate. He went on to praise UDA party claiming it performed well despite being new.

Congratulations to my friend Urbunus Muthama Ngengele (UDA) with the whole team led by Senator Muthama for putting up a good fight. Great show for a first timer in a new Party."
