
Raymond and area Governor
2023 madaraka Day celebrations will be held in embu County for the first time. Today the powerful principal secretary in the ministry of interior coordination Raymond Omollo has already landed in the vicinity to oversee the preparations for the event which is only two months before it happens.

The principal secretary was accompanied by 13 other principal secretaries from different Ministries in the country and were received by a delegation of Top Ranking politicians from embu County including the governor Sicily Mbarire.

Also present were area members of Parliament including manyata members of Parliament Gitonga and the area a senator who has been vocal on insisting that the celebrations should be held in the area.

This will be ruto's first madaraka celebrations in the country after taking over the instruments of power from his predecessor outgoing president Uhuru kenyatta a few months ago. Ruto is a strong advocate of devolution and does his decision to have the event held at different counties
