Big Blow To Raila As Influential Nyanza Politician Ditches ODM

Orange Democratic Party has faced a huge blow in its own political stronghold after an influential politician dumped the party.

The leaders from the Nyanza region who have left ODM include Kisii senator Sam Ongeri and Joash Mash who joined the newly founded DAP- Kenya. Also Busia deputy governor Kulomi walked into DAP-Kenya.

The afternoon shocker is that Nyamira deputy governor Dr James Cesami has officially joined Matiangi affiliated party from ODM. United progressive party is associated with the interior CS Fred Matiangi'.

He was received into the party by Nyamira governor Amos Nyaribo. They promised to work together to ensure the interests of Nyamira county.

However, it may be a blow to ODM party but it won't affect the Azimio la Umoja coalition since UPA is a supporter for Raila Odinga's presidential bid.

On the other hand, Raila has reportedly arrived in the country via a jet. Follow and share to get latest updates.
