The Machakos Governor hopeful Johnson Nduya Muthama is now sure of his running mate ahead the August General Elections. On 10th April, 2022 at Kitulu Day Secondary School where he had gone to offer his Condolences to the family of the former Machakos Town MP Onesmus Kikuyu, Muthama named Professor Faith Muli as his running mate.
What you need to know about Professor Faith Muli;
Faith Muli is a kamba by tribe and comes from Mwala Constituency a place called Vyulya. She is a Medical professor and currently the Machakos Medical and Technical Training College Managing Director.
According to Muthama, when looking for a running mate, she wanted a person who is self driven and the one who can easily interact with people of Machakos and deliver the best for Machakos County.
"When in was looking for a running mate, I wanted someone is smart is humble, smart in mind and the one who is able to interact with other women. I didn't want to choose for yoy someone who will be speaking English to you on top of trees rather someone you can easily reach as well and interact with her," Muthama said.
Muthama will be flagging the UDA Machakos Gubernatorial Seat and will be facing other strong competitors who includes Wavinya Ndeti, Nzioka Waita, Hon. Francis Maliti, Hon. Patrick Makau etc.
