A number of leaders allied to the former prime minister Raila Odinga especially from Luo Nyanza have showed interest in working with president William Ruto's administration to push for development in their regions.
Caroli is one of the elected leaders from Luo Nyanza who have been accompanying the ICT cabinet secretary Eliud Owalo to distribute relief foods in the Nyanza region. The lawmaker has also been encouraging the Nyanza residents to ensure the register so as to receive the hustler funds recently launched by president William Ruto. The hustler funds has been seriously antagonized by the former prime minister and his allies.
The first term lawmaker has also opposed Raila's decision to organise for nationwide demonstrations. He says that there are other ways the former prime minister can use to peacefully keep the government in check other than demonstrations.Caroli has also maintained that there is no way the Nyanza region is going to get the support from the national government if they continue opposing it. This is an indication that he is ready to work with the government.
