President William Ruto has this evening announced his new cabinet. The head of state made the announcements from State House, Nairobi.
Prior to him unveiling the new cabinet Secretaries, Ruto held a closed-door meeting with the previous cabinet secretaries. Among those who attended the meeting which was also held at State House included Fred Matiangi, Najib Balala, Raychelle Omamo, Attorney General Kihara Kariuki among others.
After the meeting, the president posed for some photo’s with CSs who were against him in the just concluded general elections. This showed that the head of state had nothing personal with them.
After the meeting, Ruto has now announced his new cabinet. As promised during his elections period, Women have been well represented in his cabinet.
